Barwon River - Catch-A-Carp-Day

The Barwon River Catch-A-Carp Day held on 18th October was a great success!

Clean Up Australia would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who grabbed their fishing rods and took part.

The event had huge support from local community groups including the Grovedale Rotary club, Ray Long Tackle and Fish Care with 230 registrations and a total of 21 Carp fish caught.

There were many other activities that took place on the day including:

• Prizes to be won
• Free workshops hosted by Fish care and the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority
• Marine Conservation information and education
• Free BBQ
